Welded Dowel Assembly
Welded Dowel Assemblies (Dowel Baskets) are poured in place baskets with dowels welded at alternate ends, to allow movement in the pavement. They provide a more accurate installation system for concrete slab dowels used in steel expansion and contraction joints. Dowels are centered precisely, for meeting exacting engineering standards. These baskets offer substantial cost savings in slab construction time. Available Types: Contraction, Expansion, Dummy, Rebar (Tie Bar), Tapered, and Cantilever.

Usage:
Used to support the dowel in place during paving process. Baskets will greatly reduce the amount stress and deflection at the slab joints. They prolong the useful life of the concrete pavement.
Features:
Can be manufactured to almost any pavement height, with varying leg styles, wire gauge thicknesses, dowel spacings, dowel sizes and dowel finishes. Baskets can be full red oxide painted and/or tectyl dipped.
