    Purpose:

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening EAL’s internal culture and structure. This role will work closely with sales and operations teams to align goals, performance metrics, and productivity initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can build strong relationships both inside and outside the organization.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead and coordinate both inside and outside sales teams to expand market reach and increase revenue
    • Support marketing efforts to promote EAL products and services
    • Work with the Operations Manager and Director to develop organizational structure, goals, KPIs, and drive production performance
    • Help build and sustain a high-performance culture that positions EAL at the top of the industry
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
    • Stay current with industry trends and innovations by attending conferences, networking events, and trade shows
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
    • Participate in long-term planning and growth strategy for the company

    Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

    • Minimum of 10 years experience in business development and sales in the concrete manufacturing industry
    • Experience in business development, sales, or operations, preferably in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction
    • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and drive measurable results
    • Familiarity with performance metrics, KPIs, and organizational development
    • Willingness to travel for business development and industry engagement

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
    • Experience in the steel fabrication or industrial construction industry

    • Mig Welder
    • Bandsaw Operator
    • Machine Operator
    • General labor

    Requirements/Conditions

    • Must be able to work in the seasonal weather conditions
    • Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds regularly
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, turn, rotate, stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time
    • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment at all times
    • Must follow ALL safety guidelines, including the company’s code of conduct
    • Must be able to work overtime as needed
    • Must have reliable means of transportation, to be punctual
    • Must be able to communicate verbally, and English/Spanish BILINGUAL is preferred but not required
